Career and Internship Services
You bring your passions, talent, and hard work to the table. We’ll bring in the Butler network to connect you with the employers, community partners, and mentors you need to set you up for long-term success.
Like all Butler colleges, Founder’s College prioritizes experiential learning. That’s why all Founder’s College students are required to take a career development course and encouraged to take up to 4–6 semesters of paid internship opportunities. Hands-on experience and guidance from industry leaders help build your confidence and professional skills as you pursue your degree. Our career and internship services strive to remove barriers and help you stand out from other candidates post-graduation.
Discovering your Unique Strengths
Whether you’ve set your sights on a specific career or are still exploring how to apply your talents, we’re here to help provide clarity. You’ll take self-assessments to discern your strengths, interests, and industry matches. You’ll have 1:1 meetings with a career development advisor who truly gets to know you. And you’ll be given the tools to build your professional identity and authentic self.
Preparing you Professionally
As a Founder’s College student, you can expect opportunities for paid internships, employer mentorship, and connections to careers in your field of study. In addition to comprehensive preparation for interviews and resume-building, you can expect job search strategies, employer supervision and guidance, job fairs and networking events, and more. In addition to these integral pieces of your Founder’s College experience, you’ll receive ongoing support from Butler’s Career and Professional Success office—for free, for life.
